This book is about a girl named Martha and her two friends who are brothers. The boys have a little webbing between their fingers and toes. They are in love with the color blue. The boys join Martha in the wish to leave their dry hometown and go towards water. The boys discover that home is not going to be in Oak Grove, but what happens to Martha?
