Scarlett has to get her hands dirty. After the war, her survival problems are over, but now her love life is a mess. How far will Scarlett go to reach her crazy goals?

This is the story of a young boy named Arn whose father died in a car accident just months before. He is forced to live with his sisters, Chantou, Maly, Jorami, Sophea, and his younger brother, Munny. They live with their aunt. The book starts when the Khmer soldiers told the people of Mongolia that an American plane is coming to bomb  the city and everyone must go to the countryside. Arn's aunt learns that this is not the case. After three tiring days of walking, Arn and his siblings are separated to different refugee camps. They work during the day and get little to no food. The family wants to relocate. Will Arn ever see freedom again? Read to find out!

This story is really an engaging book. It takes place on the 1860's American Prairies. The main character, Colleen, has a terrible secret she is hiding from her family. While her father was away, her mother gave birth to her stillborn sister a month early. While fetching a neighbor for help, she comes across a cry for help coming from inside a covered wagon. She goes inside and is greeted by a woman with her own newborn baby. She tells Colleen to take the baby along with a gold watch and some money. The woman warns Colleen to keep the baby away from her husband who is very cruel. The woman then passes away. Colleen bring the baby home and decides to bring her own deceased sister back to the woman and leave her there. Will Colleen be able to tell her family the truth?

This book was: Exciting!

Her brothers died in a fire at her Aunt's place, and her aunt vanishes after that disaster. Rodzina is now alone on a train getting sent away from the place she calls home, Chicago. They make two major stops for orphans presented for possible adoption. Will Rodzina ever have a family again? Or will the training school for boys and girls in California be her last stop in life?

This book was: An inspiration and a sad story with a good end.

This is about a boy who has a relative with a bad side. The book has many twists and turns which add to the final effect of the story. The main character is named Carver Young (maybe). He is very courageous and has much to offer to the people who read this book. he is also very stubborn which gets him in more trouble than you can imagine. He is trying to solve a murder, but then realizes the murder was done by his father, Jack the Ripper. As quoted from the note he gives Carver at the start, "A liking for the same job too, I'll bet once he gets to play my games". He is proving, from the start, that he is the Ripper, but Carver couldn't see that at the time. He was too happy with the thought that his father was alive, that he forgot to look right in front of him.

This book was: Historical fiction.

I would recommend this book to: Mystery enthusiasts.

An 11-year-old boy named Oscar Olgivie is in love with trains. He builds a model of trains with his dad. One day his dad got laid off of his job working as a tractor seller. Oscar had to live with his Aunt Carmen and his cousin. While Aunt Carman goes to work tutoring kids, he stays home. One day he meets a man who tutors him in math. Right before Christmas, Oscar went to visit him and a robbery happened at the bank he worked at. During the robbery he heard "Jump!", so he jumped on the model trains. He woke up in 1926. Will he ever go back to 1931?
My favorite part was when he meets Claire.
