Books by Blei - Multicultural: Till Tomorrow by John Donahue

Till Tomorrow
by John Donahue

Recommended by:  Nathan H.
OB had just moved into a new military base in France. He doesn't know anyone there, and he wanted to fit in. He tries out for abseball and meets Cannonball. They become friends, and hang out later. OB doesn't make the team, and is sad. Later, he meets a French boy named Claude. Claude like OB, and shows him a secret pond. Later, OB learns that Cannonball doesn't like Claude, and he's told to stay away from him. Cannonball also tells OB he's in a secret club. Claude invites OB to dinner, and once reluctantly agreeing, finds Claude's grandpa is a WWII veteran. Will OB tell Cannonball about that? Will he make the ball team? What is this secret club? Find all this and more by reading the book.

This book was: Mysterious and suspenseful!

I would recommend this book to:  People who take French.
